Peter Hook The Light & Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 2023

Peter Hook (nacido el 13 de febrero de 1956). Actualmente es el vocalista y bajista de Peter Hook and The Light. Hook fue cofundador de la banda inglesa de post-punk Joy Division junto con Bernard Sumner a mediados de 1970, y tras la muerte de su vocalista Ian Curtis la banda se reformó bajo el nombre New Order. Hook tocó el bajo con ellos hasta su salida en 2007. En 2011, la banda se reunió sin Hook. También ha grabado un álbum con Revenge (One True Passion), dos álbumes con Monaco (Music for Pleasure y Monaco) y un álbum con Freebass (It's A Beautiful Life) como bajista, teclista y vocalista principal.

 “Buenas noches, Marbella. Buenas noches, Starlite Occident. Qué bonito suena tu nombre”, saludaba Miguel Ríos a un alopécico público, consumidores habituales de ibuprofeno. Miguel prometió ser fiel al set list original del ROCK&RIOS original y así fue.

El escenario resonó con “Bienvenidos”, “El blues del autobús”, “Santa Lucía”, “Himno a alegría” o “Los viejos rockeros nunca mueren”, ofreciendo un viaje a través del tiempo recordando la historia del rock de nuestro país.

Este concierto contó además con grandes invitaciones y colaboraciones, para sorpresa del Auditorio: Annie B. Sweet, con quien interpretó “Nueva ola”; La Mari de Chambao, quien cantó junto al granadino “El río”; Rebeca Jiménez, para dar voz a “Reina de la noche”; Javier Ojeda, quien protagonizó “Roncanrol Búmerang”; y Lúa Ríos, hija de Miguel Ríos, con quien compartió sobre el escenario “Extraños en el escaparate”.

10 para la organización, banda, luces, sonido y como no para este incombustible rockero, que es el numero uno en el escenario. Gracias Miguel por este regalo.......
