La mezcla de este álbum es muy buena teniendo en cuenta que tiene 35 años. A pesar de ser bootleg , tiene un buen sonido!  La guitarra de Blackmore esta en el lado izquierdo, todo lo demás (voces, bajo, batería y teclados) está en el medio a la derecha. Realmente parece que te golpea la guitarra de Blackmore.

En 1985, Perkins regrabó su "Blue suede shoes" acompañado de dos miembros de los Stray Cats, como parte de la banda de música para la película "Porky's Revenge". Ese mismo año, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Rosanne Cash y Dave Edmunds aparecieron con él en un especial para la televisión grabado en Londres, titulado Carl Perkins and Friends. Viene en una sola pista pero es la ostia.

50 años han pasado desde la publicación del Sgt. Pepper's de los Beatles. Medio siglo. Y todavía seguimos hablando de él como si hubiera sido publicado el mes pasado. 
Por algo será ¿no? 
Icono sesentero donde los haya, influencia clave para una generación y también para las que vendrían más tarde, el álbum se erige como una obra cumbre de visita obligada si queremos entender, no sólo ya el momento musical en que se encuadra sino, en general, la historia y la sociedad de aquellos años.
Los "Fab Four", que habían dejado ya de tocar en directo, dejaron también de ser los "Fab Four"... y se convirtieron en algo más grande: compositores eclécticos, gurús psicodélicos, intelectuales activistas, exploradores sonoros, señores con bigote... seguían siendo únicos, irrepetibles y ahora también etéreros, enigmáticos, clásicos y a la vez vanguardistas.
Como se puede vislumbrar por esta introducción, la imparcialidad en este programa va a brillar por su ausencia. Nos limitamos a caer rendidos ante la magna obra y tratamos de hacer el mejor análisis que las limitaciones de tiempo nos permiten, teniendo en cuenta que siempre se va a quedar algo en el tintero al hablar de uno de los discos que han hecho correr más ríos de tinta.

Tras la gira de Blackout 1982/1983 el grupo se enroló en los estudios para preparar su próximo trabajo. Para esta etapa el combo no cuenta con Francis ni con Herman, ya que segun los lideres del grupo no están a la altura musical de lo que se les espera debido a algunos abusos de sustancias de las que ya sabéis, comoquiera,  son reemplazados por Jimmy Bain y Bobby Rondinelli. que son los componentes del resto del combo para estas demos, y así se preparo su siguiente album, lo unico es que la banda segun Klaus y Rudolf, pues no sonaba igual sin ellos, y se les volvió a reclutar..... el resto es ya historia.......

Pues si!!!!!!! hubo un tiempo en el que el señor Davis respeto el acuerdo de Mr. Hodgson y Supertramp no tocaba temas compuestos por este ultimo y bueno no era lo mismo pero es innegable que el disco de Brother Where You Bound es un discazo y aunque no viene en los créditos participa en el, el mismisimo David Gilmour y joder tambien tenían su aquel estos Supertramp sin Hodgson, coño que a mi me gustaban, esto señores es una joya ripeada del vinilo, conseguida en el infierno para hacer las delicias del cielo.

La banda se forma cuando el vocalista Paul Rodgers se junta con el baterista Simon Kirke. Paul Kossoff, guitarrista principal de la banda y reverenciado guitarrista de blues-rock, muere de una insuficiencia cardíaca provocada por el uso constantes de drogas en 1976 a la edad de 25 años.

El grupo se hizo famoso por sus sensacionales conciertos y sus incesantes giras, aunque sus primeros álbumes de estudio tuvieron pocas ventas hasta el lanzamiento de "Fire and Water", el cual incluía su gran éxito «All Right Now». Esta canción les ayudó a asegurar su presencia en el Festival de la Isla de Wight (1970), donde tocaron delante de 600 000 personas. Como los propios miembros supervivientes de la banda han reconocido, los problemas personales se cruzaron en su camino y les impidieron alcanzar metas mayores.
