El 13 de septiembre de 1979, ABBA inició ABBA: The Tour en el Northlands Coliseum en Edmonton, Canadá, frente a una sala repleta de 14.000 personas. Durante las siguientes cuatro semanas, el grupo actuó ante un público con entradas agotadas 17 veces, incluidas 13 en Estados Unidos y 4 en Canadá.
