Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band: The History Of The Beatle Years 1962 - 1970

Westwood One produced with syndication in November 1984 this nine part Beatles history titled 'Sgt Pepper's
Lonely Hearts Club Band - A History Of The Beatle Years 1962-1970'
All nine parts, each covering a single year, were made with each one hour show divided into six segments
(intro - 4 segments - outro) leaving the broadcasting stations space for inserting commercials in between.

The shows, narrated by Roger Scott, were originally distributed as 9 LP's. And this set is designated
as "Core" for Beatle bootlegs by Doug Sulpy in his book (2004 Edition) 'The 910's Guide To The Beatles'
Outtakes.

The set listed here is transferred to discs from original clean vinyls having an excellent sound quality. The
transfers and copies were made by the bootleg 'label' Black Cat in the mid 00's.

The historical marathon radio special was from 1984 aired in both America and in the UK. The series features
many rare Beatles recordings, including a 1962 Cavern rehearsal, songs from the October 24, 1963, concert
from Swedish radio, John's 1963 demo for 'Bad To Me' and, from the 1964 UK TV special Around The Beatles, a
performance of the unreleased track 'Shout!' alongside a medley of their hits. Enjoy!
